3rd International Workshop on Capability-oriented Business Informatics (CoBI)

The third industrial workshop on “Capability-oriented Business Informatics” (COBI 2016) will bring together, industry professionals, software consultants and researchers in the area of Enterprise modeling, to provide practical insights about how “Capability as a Service” will boost the Digital Enterprise. Capabilities create value and contributes to competitiveness, innovation and service quality. Specifically, they contribute to:
* Industry: a good organizational design of capabilities delivers more efficient services, awareness about context, and opens new markets;
* Public Sector: capability design puts organizational goals first, improving the effectiveness and reducing the cost of public services targeted to citizens.

This workshop provides an exclusive opportunity to connect not only with top researchers in the CaaS paradigm but also with SMEs and companies that have successfully applied this innovative paradigm. The main goals of the CoBI workshop are:
* Increase the use of capabilities to improve the delivery of services
* Provide an open discussion forum to raise awareness in industry of how capabilities increases efficiency
* Demonstrate using real industrial use cases how the aforementioned benefits could be achieved.
